BLOODY SUNDAY 30th JANUARY 1972 DERRY CARNIVAL ATROCITY

Bloody Sunday 30th January 1972 Derry Ireland. The murders of 14 innocent unarmed men and the injuring of 13 unarmed innocent men and women. All caused by the Parachute Regiment of the British Army. This video incorporates a poem that I wrote in 1997 called Carnival Atrocity and I have made this video using the poem and the photos of that fateful day. The photos are in chronological order of the day. Audio includes music by Pete Seeger We Shall Overcome, this song was sung by the crowd on the march. Music also by Clannad. Authentic original audio of interviews conducted on the day. The video finishes with my own footage of 15th June 2010 the day that Lord Saville's report of the inquiry into what actually happened on 30th January 1972 was made public. The footage is not of great quality but it is the content that is important. Please watch and learn and research the facts of Bloody Sunday.
